Anna Richards

Business Advisor

Anna Richards provides advisory services focused on improving financial data quality
and integrating operational and financial data systems to support strategic business
planning. Her early career background in tax consulting and business succession
planning informs a practical, systems-based approach to helping farm businesses align
ownership transition, capital structure, and long-term strategy with reliable, decision-
ready data. Anna founded 2020 Consulting to expand access to advanced management accounting and advisory services for Northeast agriculture and joined Pinion in June 2025.

Anna holds an MBA from Cornell University and Queen’s University, along with a
bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business Management from the State University of
Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. She was named to the Cornell Johnson
School of Management’s 10 Under 10 Distinguished Alumni and is a graduate of LEAD
NY and the Cornell Dairy Executive Program. Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending
time with her two daughters riding and showing horses.
