Chris Wilson is a Partner at Pinion Risk Management, where he combines his background as a farmer with over two decades of experience in commodity markets. Growing up on and continuing to operate his family’s dairy and crop farm in Wisconsin, Chris understands firsthand the challenges farm families face. He focuses on developing practical, data-driven solutions that integrate crop, dairy, and livestock insurance with commodity brokerage and financial tools.

At Pinion, Chris has played a key role in advancing Dairy Revenue Protection (DRP), Livestock Risk Protection (LRP), and other margin-based programs that help producers manage volatility and plan for growth. His leadership emphasizes making complex strategies understandable and actionable, always with a farmer’s perspective at the core.

Chris continues to stay actively involved in his family’s farm, which grounds his work in the realities of production agriculture and strengthens his commitment to supporting clients across the country.
